There are various factors to consider when choosing an outfit for an important event—the venue, the dress code, even how long the ceremony is going to last—but there’s also the weather. Living in the UK, that usually means considering a jacket for random cold fronts and an umbrella for downpours. But if you’re attending a wedding here this year over spring or summer, it’s likely to be sunny and warm (here’s hoping, at least!)
Luckily, there are plenty of options out there that can keep you looking and feeling amazing on the day. Of course, there are the chic tailored and jumpsuit alternatives, but we’d advise saving these for autumn/winter weddings for now. Breezy dresses will be much more comfortable in spring/summer, and after all, there are hundreds of beautiful ones out there to choose from. From lace and chiffon to silk and organza, we really are spoilt for choice.
